BUÉE guide

A measured routine for oily, blemish-prone skin

Control does not mean stripping: keep the base light, then choose one targeted active at a time.

01

Keep cleansing predictable

A gentle gel or foaming cleanser twice daily is enough for many oily skins. Scrubs, repeated cleansing and alcohol-heavy formulas can add irritation without making oil production easier to understand.

02

Pick one job for the active

Salicylic acid targets clogged pores, while benzoyl peroxide is used for inflammatory blemishes and azelaic acid can support blemishes, marks and visible redness. Starting all three together makes reactions impossible to attribute.

03

Moisturizer still belongs here

A light moisturizer can make targeted treatments easier to tolerate. Finish mornings with sunscreen, especially when the routine includes exfoliating acids or when post-blemish marks are a concern.

  1. 01AM: gentle cleanse, light moisturizer, sunscreen
  2. 02PM: cleanse, one targeted active, moisturizer
