The smallest and most assertive of the AHAs, glycolic acid loosens dead surface cells to reveal brighter, more even skin — often visibly by the next morning. It excels at dullness and rough texture, and with time helps fade dark spots. Resilient, non-sensitive skin gets the best ratio of glow to grumbling.
Worth knowing
Increases sun sensitivity for days after use — non-negotiable SPF. Sensitive or barrier-damaged skin should approach slowly or not at all.
